It is surprising that a trial like this happens, because when I was there I didn’t even have faith in their so called justice system. As an Asian you expect to get hostility, unfair treatment, rudeness and bullying. If they haven’t murdered you yet, they would somehow make your life unhappy one way or another. There’s very little love involved. From kids onwards, they say very hurtful things and find ways to exploit you. They enjoy making up stories to accuse you and give you negative labels. They have no interest to learn and appreciate the accomplishments of Asian people, and get a one sided brain washing information about their world view.

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?

Shannon may be in trouble if he goes to prison. Last week I heard a really awful story about a young bonehead in Kiwi convicted of a racist crime who briefly shared a cell with a Maori prisoner. I suspect that a small group of men murdering an innocent tourist is one thing; being a bonehead on the inside, quite another.
