A band from Melbourne called Sexxx likes to play with swastikas it seems. They were gonna play a gig at Mr Boogie Man BAR on Saturday night (as part of their brief why haven’t you got aids? tour australia) but it may be that they’ve been kicked off the bill.

*shrugs*

Possibly another band to keep an eye on as others have raised various other allegations with regards their supposed dickheadedness …

Bonus Uncle Phranc!

About @ndy

I live in Melbourne, Australia. I like anarchy. I don't like nazis. I enjoy eating pizza and drinking beer. I barrack for the greatest football team on Earth: Collingwood Magpies. The 2024 premiership's a cakewalk for the good old Collingwood.

Hmmm… despite a fair amount of macho grandstanding and threats of violence against person and venue, Andrew Sparrow was nowhere to be found in Abbotsford tonight. And believe me, we looked 😉

It’s a shame the likes of this shitstain hang about Scum Alley and Centre Place in the city. I remember when they were places anti-nazi punks could drag out a tape deck and vomit on each other while Blaggers ITA pumped tinnily thru the city streets. Sadly, the scabs who think these blokes are fine are predicating the argument on the notion that they’re just fashion punx and therefore can’t be real fash. But let’s be clear, and those of us with long memories could attest to this… the two ain’t mutually exclusive and you don’t get a pass for having spiky hair.

Happily, it seems like the band has called it quits…

Odd coincidence – the drummer of this band, a tall skinny young bloke called Mickey, used to live next door to me with his missus. Very nice bloke, we got along well, he was pretty friendly with most people and didn’t seem to have any political let alone racial affiliations. I met his bandmates through him but had little to do with them.

Anyway, this band are or were just a bunch of party punks, into seventies glam rock and that kind of thing. They never seemed like anything much more than that to me. They’d occasionally rehearse their songs acoustically out the front of Mickey’s flat so I was regaled with three chord hymns to picking up chicks at grubby bars and GG Allin covers. I listened to their music on their Bandcamp page and again, not a whiff of anything political or racial.
