{"id":1246,"date":"2008-07-05T17:58:59","date_gmt":"2008-07-05T07:58:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/slackbastard.anarchobase.com\/?p=1246"},"modified":"2008-07-06T23:23:33","modified_gmt":"2008-07-06T13:23:33","slug":"melbourne-starbucks-action-july-5-2008","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/slackbastard.anarchobase.com\/?p=1246","title":{"rendered":"Melbourne Starbucks Action, July 5, 2008"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Melbourne Starbucks Action<\/p>\n<p>Twenty people from various groups, including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iww.org\/en\/node\/4243\">IWW<\/a>, Melbourne <a href=\"http:\/\/www.asf-iwa.org.au\/\">ASF<\/a> (Anarcho-Syndicalist Federation, attached to the IWA), <a href=\"http:\/\/mac.anarchobase.com\/\">Melbourne Anarchist Club<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unionsolidarity.org\/\">Union Solidarity<\/a> and more showed up to show our solidarity with the sacked Starbucks workers and demand Starbucks allow their workers to organise. The action went for about an hour and a half, emptying the store almost completely.
