Huh. I didn’t realise until now that UK anarchist Colin Ward has died. His Anarchism: A Very Short Introduction<\/a><\/em> (OUP, 2004) is both very short and quite good<\/a>, and his appeal as a writer was widespread, his many, generally pithy writings emphasising the practical dimensions of Anarchy in Action<\/a><\/em>. (Revolution by the Book has an extract from Anarchy in Action<\/em> here<\/a>; AK Press is also publishing Autonomy, Solidarity, Possibility: The Colin Ward Reader<\/em> later this year.)
