CBS <a href=\"http:\/\/election.cbsnews.com\/election2008\/president.shtml\">notes<\/a> that, in addition to the above, &#8216;None Of These Candidates&#8217; got 6,251 votes and &#8216;James Harris&#8217; 2,618.<\/p>\n<p>Well, that&#8217;s <em>some<\/em> of the candidates. <\/p>\n<p>But apparently, there were freaking <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.politics1.com\/p2008.htm\">hundreds<\/a><\/em>, and scores of <a href=\"http:\/\/election.cbsnews.com\/election2008\/party.shtml\">parties<\/a> contesting the election, from &#8216;A Connecticut Party&#8217; to the &#8216;Builders Party&#8217; to &#8216;Concerned Citizens&#8217; to the &#8216;Working Class Party&#8217;, &#8216;Workers World&#8217; and &#8216;Yes&#8217;.
