Well, brief notes, anyway, and relating only to the seat of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abc.net.au\/elections\/federal\/2010\/guide\/melb.htm\">Melbourne<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So, last time I checked (<a href=\"http:\/\/slackbastard.anarchobase.com\/?p=18363\">July 19<\/a>), in the race between Adam Bandt (Greens) and Cath Bowtell (Labor), Bandt had 895 followers on Twitter, while Cath Bowtell had 162; 2,540 people liked Adam Bandt on Facebook, while 265 people liked Cath Bowtell. A month later, <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/adambandt\">Bandt<\/a> has 1,475 followers on Twitter, while <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/cathbowtell\">Bowtell<\/a> has 370. 3,299 people like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Make-History-Melbourne-elect-the-Greens-in-2010\/313439092020?v=info\">Bandt<\/a> on Facebook, while 493 people like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/cathbowtell?v=info\">Bowtell<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>More worryingly, for Labor, are the odds on Centrebet:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4093\/4887278627_b5a270609d_z.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theage.com.au\/federal-election\/greens-candidates-old-law-firm-backs-labors-bowtell-20100812-121in.html\">Greens candidate&#8217;s old law firm backs Labor&#8217;s Bowtell<\/a> (David Rood, <em>The Age<\/em>, August 13, 2010).
