\nMinisters are always telling the people
\nHow difficult it is to govern. Without the ministers
\nCorn would grow into the ground, not upward.
\nNot a lump of coal would leave the mine if
\nThe Chancellor weren’t so clever. Without the Minister of
\nPropaganda
\nNo girl would ever agree to get pregnant. Without the
\nMinister of War
\nThere’d never be a war. Indeed, whether the sun would rise
\nin the morning
\nWithout the Fuhrer’s permission
\nIs very doubtful, and if it did, it would be
\nIn the wrong place.<\/p>\n

2<\/strong>
\nIt’s just as difficult, so they tell us
\nTo run a factory. Without the owner
\nThe walls would fall in and the machines rust, so they say.
\nEven if a plough could get made somewhere
\nIt would never reach a field without the
\nCunning words the factory owner writes the peasants: who
\nCould otherwise tell them that ploughs exist? And what
\nWould become of an estate without a landlord? Surely
\nThey’d be sowing rye where they had set the potatoes.<\/p>\n

3<\/strong>
\nIf governing were easy
\nThere’d be no need for such inspired minds as the Fuhrer’s.
\nIf the worker knew how to run his machine and
\nThe peasant could tell his field from a pastry-board
\nThere’d be no need of a factory-owner or landlord.
\nIt’s only because they are all so stupid
\nThat a few are needed who are so clever.<\/p>\n

4<\/strong>
\nOr could it be that
\nGoverning is so difficult only
