The need of a constantly expanding market for its products chases McDonald&#8217;s over the entire surface of the globe. It must nestle everywhere, settle everywhere, establish connexions everywhere. Currently, the multi-billion dollar corporation is extending its reach into The Dandenongs.<\/p>\n<p>Against the odds, some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.burgeroff.org\/\">plucky locals<\/a> have been campaigning against the fast-food giant &#8212; with media coverage, popular support but limited success. Next weekend a march has been organised to draw further attention to the fact that McDonald&#8217;s is not welcome in Tecoma.<\/p>\n<p>I reckon they&#8217;ve got three chances of stopping the juggernaut.<\/p>\n<p><em>You still don&#8217;t get it, do you? It&#8217;ll find you. That&#8217;s what it does. That&#8217;s all it does! You can&#8217;t stop it.
