The first A5, B&#038;W printed issue contains: articles on attacks on Medicare and health inequality, the <a href=\"http:\/\/boycottsydneybiennale.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">boycott campaign<\/a> of the Biennale of Sydney, confronting sexual violence in the left, and the impact of repressive new laws in Victoria; interviews with a Tamil refugee about the Tamil refugee experience and with Michael Schmidt (co-author, <em>Global Fire<\/em>) on the global impact of revolutionary anarchism and finally; a statement of the group&#8217;s principles. The zine will be available at the upcoming <a href=\"http:\/\/sydneyanarchistbookfair.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sydney Anarchist Bookfair<\/a> (March 22). So too will be the second issue of <em>Sedition<\/em>, a joint publication of <a href=\"http:\/\/jura.org.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jura Books<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/mac.anarchobase.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Melbourne Anarchist Club<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Note<\/em> : Michael Schmidt will be speaking at Trades Hall this Wednesday in Meeting Room 1 from 6.30.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Platform is the title of a new anarchist zine by the Melbourne-based anarchist-communist group Anarchist Affinity.
