Byron is the author of Fear: New Zealand’s hostile underworld of extremists<\/a><\/em> (HarperCollins, 2023), which ‘maps New Zealand’s alt-right underworld and unearths the roots of the occupation that ended in a violent protest on the grounds of Parliament’ in early 2022<\/a>. We spoke to Byron about the book and his experience monitoring the far-right in Aotearoa\/New Zealand (Cam previously spoke to Byron about Kiwi conspiracists in August 2021<\/a>).<\/p>\n
