Beyonce did not publicly debut her $5 million Lorraine Schwartz-designed wedding ring until the Fashion Rocks concert on September 5, 2008 in New York City. Like Kanye, Jay-Z is a philanthropist: in 2006, he became aware that some people do not have regular access to clean drinking water, and produced a documentary entitled Diary of Jay-Z: Water for Life.
