Nazi Gold
Last week, both ABC and The Age carried reports examining some of Tom Sewell’s major financial backers and the — quite nice, actually — mansion he’s secured with their help in north-eastern Melbourne/Naarm. TLDR : millionaires are bankrolling nazis. See : Neo-Nazi leader Thomas Sewell covertly broadcasting hate on Instagram from Melbourne acreage, Matt Martino, Michael Workman and Lucy Carter, ABC, June 3, 2026 /// Rich mates, secret mansions: Australia’s millionaire Nazi-backers revealed, Sherryn Groch, The Age, June 3, 2026.
Both articles are worth reading, and my sympathies are with the non-Nazi-sympathising residents of Hurstbridge — ‘a little bush gem, bursting with personality’ — which can now also boast of hosting a large number of fans of Mr Hitler and Mr Tarrant. With regards the former, see : Nazi party records released online shatter German family myths (RTL Today, June 5, 2026); on the mass murder of Muslim worshippers, see also : The San Diego Mosque Attack, Part I: What Happened /// PART 2: The Online Ecosystem Behind the San Diego Mosque Attack, Alissa Azar, we will free us, June 5, 2026.
Sieg Fails
While the case against Sewell and a dozen or so members of his nazi gang who allegedly attacked Camp Sovereignty in August last year continues to make its way through the courts, several of his followers have had their ANZAC Day antics be the subject of legal penalty. Hence, Eli Toby in Sydney copped a smol fine (see : Man fined for booing during Anzac Day dawn service at Sydney’s Martin Place, Jamie McKinnell, ABC, June 3, 2026), while in Melbourne, Nathan Bull, Jacob Hersant, Ian Lomax and Michael Nelson also received smol fines for similar (Neo-Nazis found guilty over Anzac Day Welcome to Country booing, Dechlan Brennan, National Indigenous Times, June 4, 2026). In related news, Hersant also recently appeared on Shut Your Big Fat Mouth John Safran in a skit about Nazi salutes. You can watch an interview Safran did with proprietarian MP David Limbrick here, to which I’ll simply add that the United Patriots Front et. al. had come to the attention of a number of people prior to the publication of his 2017 book.
The other, major challenge facing Sewell & Co. is the proscription of White Australia as a hate group. On that count, the Lads faced a minor setback last week when an injunction was dismissed by the High Court (see : White Australia’s bid to remove hate listing dismissed by High Court, Elizabeth Byrne, ABC, June 6, 2026). You can read the judgement in White Australia Party Inc. & Anor v The Commonwealth of Australia & Anor [2026] HCASJ 17 here. While this attempt at overcoming the law was a sieg fail, the substantive challenge will proceed to court in September. On that subject, see : Professor Anne Twomey, The challenge by ‘White Australia’ to the prohibited hate group law, May 24, 2026.
Speaking of lulz, after a racist troll I’d never heard of recently lost her job, the sponsor of Warren Mundine’s CPAC, Give Send Go, came to her rescue. Thus far, it’s helped her raise over $45,000 in compensation. A tidy sum, but a fraction of what the site has helped raise for Sewell & Co.. Finally, Charlie Pickering copped some flak after being interviewed by convicted spousal abuser and serial pest Avi Yemini at a June 2 rally demanding that the ABC be defunded. Inter alia, Pickering remarked that he thought Grace Tame’s involvement in an ABC podcast on autism was ‘problematic’, seemingly on the basis that Tame took part in a rally earlier in February when she voiced the words ‘globalise the intifada’. The defund the ABC rally was organised by Allies for a Strong Australia, previously known as the Christian Zionist project Never Again is Now, a group which, incidentally, won the support of various local Tories, including Warren Mundine, and is now seeking to defend Judeo-Christian civilisation against its many enimies.
