This week on Yeah Nah Pasaran! we talk to Byron Clark [Twitter/Mastodon]. Byron is the author of Fear: New Zealand’s hostile underworld of extremists (HarperCollins, 2023), which ‘maps New Zealand’s alt-right underworld and unearths the roots of the occupation that ended in a violent protest on the grounds of Parliament’ in early 2022. We spoke to Byron about the book and his experience monitoring the far-right in Aotearoa/New Zealand (Cam previously spoke to Byron about Kiwi conspiracists in August 2021).
