Nicola is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Turku, Finland, and the author of The Italian Far Right from 1945 to the Russia-Ukraine Conflict (Routledge, 2023), ‘A comprehensive account of the postwar parliamentary & extra parliamentary far right in Italy which explores ideology, movements & activism of the extreme right and neo-fascists’. We spoke to Nicola about the ‘Strategy of Tension’, ‘Years of Lead’, geopolitics, and hobbits.
