Nazis at ANZAC Day boo Indigenous speakers. Again.
As per last year, members of Tom Sewell’s defunct neo-Nazi groupuscule the ‘National Socialist Network’ (NSN) stormed the beaches of the ANZAC Day Dawn Service again on the weekend when, along with several operating support units consisting of other patriotik Volk, they bravely booed Welcome to Country (WTC) in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and elsewhere. The cheeky young fascists were aided in this endeavour by the dregs of the ‘March For (White) Australia’ (which has recently undergone a split to produce another anti-social media entity called ‘Fight for (White) Australia’), details of which Tom Tanuki elaborates upon below:
In 2025, it was NSN flunky Jacob Hersant what led the charge on WTC, but it seems that effort may have been enough, having won him and his kameraden Nathan Bull and Michael Nelson a stoopid prize; two other NSN members, Tim Lutze and Jimeone Roberts, were earlier this year found guilty of having failed to obey police instructions to remove themselves from the Shrine of Remembrance.
The alleged assault by the NSN upon Camp Sovereignty — like the Shrine, also in Kings Domain — following the August 2025 March for White Australia, meanwhile, continues to make its way through the courts.
In any case, having recently been released from jail after having composed some Godawful poetry earned the distinction of becoming the first person in Australia to be convicted of making the Nazi salute in public, Hersant may have been saving up his energies for the following day, when he joined fellow ex-Lads Society member Matt Trihey, his National Workers Alliance (to be confused with the NSN) and scores of others to demand that Ben Roberts-Smith be exonerated over alleged war crimes.
Don’t Tell Mum & Dad!
While police are presumably continuing to investigate the day’s events, after media inquiries, one unfortunate former NSN member, Eli Toby, has been forced to inform his mummy & daddy about being an alleged nuisance (not the first time one of Mr Sewell’s Lads have found themselves in this situation). On the other hand, the campaign to Advance the abolition of WTC has unsurprisingly won some support, and not only from neo-Nazis and right-wing lobbies. Thus the RSL has indicated it may review its policies around ANZAC Day (currently, ‘The inclusion of a Welcome to Country is … a localised decision, made at the discretion of individual sub-branches’), and the booing has even been defended by a Vice Admiral (because freezepeach). In any event:
Uncle Ray Minniecon was subjected to more than a minute of heckling while giving his Acknowledgement of Country address, with similar scenes playing out in Melbourne and Perth.
Uncle Ray has called on the RSL to take a stronger stand on the issue, saying it otherwise risks validating the behaviour.
“If they do water it down, yes, they have kowtowed to those who are doing the booing,” he told the ABC.

As noted, on April 26, Matt Trihey’s NWA held a rally in Melbourne/Naarm in order to demand that the courts cease prosecuting alleged war criminal Ben Roberts-Smith. While only attracting one or two hundred supporters (chiefly Boomerwaffen), Kerry Stokes’ poster boy has thousands more vocal fans on X, The Everything App, and throughout the Australian political establishment (including the Australian War Memorial).
