That this Conference believes that the destiny of the natives of aboriginal origin, but not of the full blood, lies in their ultimate absorption by the people of the Commonwealth, and it therefore recommends that all efforts be directed to that end.*
This week on Yeah Nah Pasaran! on 3CR we talk to Luke L Pearson [Twitter/X]. Luke is a Gamilaroi man and the founder and CEO of IndigenousX, ‘a 100% Indigenous owned and operated media, consultancy, and training organisation’. Luke has written numerous articles for IndigenousX (including most recently An open letter to mob about after the referendum) and we asked him on the show to provide us with some further reflections on The Voice referendum/campaign. Indigenous media, representation and politics, and the impact and significance of events such as this for Indigenous struggles, now and in the future.
