As for styleee… hmmm, I thunk they was kinda lucky. Apparently the season only began for good ol’ Collingwood in the last quarter. Better late than never though eh? West Coast @ Subiaco will be a lot tougher one would think, esp as — judging by last night’s performance — they appear to be sorted for e’s and wizz.

Oh they do it in style every game. They win in style and they lose in style. We can only hope that West Coast players are all coming down from pills! That will give us an edge me thinks. I hope the game is going to be televised on free to air so I can watch from home and scream at the television set.

One of my nephews barracks for the Bulldogs… poor kid. And my condolences to you too Eternalist. As for Grant, pffft. He missed it from, what, 10/15 metres out? Besides, Collingwood’s always hard done by by the men in white.

Whilst we’re talking about football, you all must have missed the great third quarter comeback of the ‘true black and white’ team… 10 goal quarters are hard to beat.
We’ll see in Round 4, though I guess.

That would be right – the ‘clowns’ in teal. But a damn, mighty fine team in teal. Or in black and white, if you look closely at their forefathers.
I just thought I’d throw in some non-Collingwood support to cause a ruckus.
If you look back in your history books Luke, you’ll find that Port wore a few ‘other’ colours before settling upon the Black and White. While Collingwood, foundations members of the VFL, have always adorned the Black and White stripes. Try hard Magpies you will always be.
And Miss P, you should be ashamed having admitted to supporting a second team! Any true supporter hates any opposing team. They are all in the way of the Mighty Magpies and the premiership.

So it seems that in Round 2 they’ve tried to even up the score — so severely imbalanced by their failure to gently take Shannon Grant by the hand and point him in the direction of goal — by:
a) allowing Wirrpanda to kick ‘The Best Goal of the Year To Be Kicked From At Least Two Feet Outside The Boundary’ and;
b) awarding the drug-fuelled Weasels 28 free kicks to the Pies’ measly 15.
An inquiry into the use of performance-doubleplus-un-enhancing drugs by umpires should be initiated immediately.
