Hakluyt dons fishnet stockings!

In the nearly three months since he retired from Federal Parliament — “It has been a great honour to have served the people of Mayo for nearly 24 years and I am deeply grateful to them for the support” — Alexander Downer has kept himself very busy. First — in fact, on the same day (July 13, 2008) he announced his retirement — Alexander was appointed as Vewy Special Envoy to Cyprus. What this means is that Alexander “sits in on the meetings [of Greek and Turkish Cypriot heads of state] and helps the leaders by making suggestions” (Downer to urge leaders to pull their socks up, Jean Christou, Cyprus Mail, October 8, 2008).

What kind of suggestions, I wonder?

Does he in fact regale them with tales of his adventures with other world leaders?

For example, did you know that:

Alexander has met Madeleine Albright, Colin Powell and Condi Rice?
Upon arrival at the Elysee Palace — in Paris — he was greeted — on the front steps — by President Chirac?
His putter is Korean, and was given to him by Ban Ki Moon, the Secretary General of the United Nations after Alexander cleaned him up on a splendid course in Seoul?

All these tall tales and true were once available on Alexander’s blog, but — alas! — for some reason he has decided to cease recollecting his exciting career as a diplomat on teh Interwebs.

In any event, as the Londra Gazete reports (Worry over slow pace of Cypriot negotiations, October 9, 2008): “Mr Downer was officially appointed special envoy in July and this is his third visit to Cyprus since then. At the UN General Assembly in New York last week, Mr Downer agreed the process of direct negotiations was moving slowly and the two sides were yet to shift from their opening standpoints. He briefed UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Lynn Pascoe on the status of the talks.”

I wonder if Ban and Alexander found time for a spot of golf?

Finally, this is not to suggest that Alexander has not impressed anyone with his diplomatic skills. Jason Koutsoukis, Middle East correspondent for The Age, is impressed. And so are Alexander’s critics. According to Jason ‘Downer impresses his critics in bid for peace’ (October 11, 2008; note that Jason replaced Ed O’Loughlin earlier this year). I confess to being unsure precisely which critics Jason is referring to; nor, for that matter, how exactly they’ve been impressed by Alexander the Great Diplomat. Perhaps the following is an example? “An Australian to direct the negotiations here? Yes, we were suspicious,” says Mr Guclu. “We have never had one like this before; Americans, British, Europeans, more Americans.”

But not an Australian.

Impressive.

Split into two in 1974, a divided Cyprus is a major sticking point for Turkey’s integration into the EU. If Alexander manages not to say or do something particularly stupid or offensive, it may be that Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot authorities will arrive at some kind of mutual accord. In which case, it was probably a good thing that, as far as Jason was concerned, “Mr Downer… was not available for an interview in Cyprus”.

Of course, that’s not all Alexander’s been up to: in May, he became a spy.

FitzGerald turns to spookery

Financial Times
September 23, 2008

Tentacles of the spy group Hakluyt have spread as Thomson Reuters co-deputy chairman Niall FitzGerald takes over as chairman from Sir William “Willie” Purves, the former HSBC chairman who steps aside after nine years… Other non-executive directors on the small main board are Mark Getty, of the US oil family fame, golf-playing Robert Webb QC, the British Airways general counsel who also sits on the board of the London Stock Exchange, as well as former UN under-secretary general Sir Kieran Prendergast.

Under Mr FitzGerald, the group… will try to expand its international reach. It has recently added some foreign affairs experts to its sprawling advisory board chaired by Sir Ralph Robins, former chairman of Rolls-Royce. The newer members include former Australian foreign minister Alexander Downer… and Sir David Manning, a former foreign policy adviser to Tony Blair and ambassador to Washington. They join former British Airways boss [and current chair of Infrastructure Australia] Sir Rod Eddington, former Hochtief chief Hans-Peter Keitel, and one-time presidential candidate Bill Bradley. Previous advisory board members have included retired bigwigs such as former BP chairman Peter Cazalet and and Vodafone chief Sir Christopher Gent.

Yes Virginia, there is such a thing as the transnational ruling class.

Last month Australia’s richest man, Andrew Forrest, chief executive of the Fortescue Metals Group, announced a plan to create 50,000 indigenous jobs over the next two years. Mr Mundine, along with fellow indigenous leader Noel Pearson and businessman Sir Rod Eddington, will run the Australian Employment Covenant and he said it would be vital that the meeting strengthen the project.”

Niggers Jews and Communists look out scum we’re on YouTube!

Awesome! YouTube — not to be confused with JewTube — has heaps of great videos. One of the best is Southern Storm’s anthem:

“Niggers Jews and Communists / Look out scum you’re on our list!” As for Southern Storm, they’re on Snapshot Records’ list. The sample features Michael Moore.

Bonehead : We’ll be at the forefront in the fight.
    Mike : Doing what?
Bonehead : Hopefully, smashing the skulls of communists, or executing race traitors, or shooting on sight anybody we don’t think is white.
Mike : And when is this gonna happen?
Bonehead : As soon as the nigger decides to make his move and this economy that the Jews have built up falls apart.

Uhoh!

Also worth keeping an eye on is genocidal88‘s channel (belonging to Melbourne bonehead Jesse, a member of the local Blood & Honour and Hammerskins franchise). While in Portugal, Hammerskins’ leader Mário Machado has been sentenced to 58 months in jail, and in Denmark two boneheads have been arrested and face extradition to Germany to face similar charges, in Australia Jesse goes from strength to strength… kinda sorta. Word on the street is that, as a result of their rampant unpopularity, Kill Baby Kill has rendered free speech very expensive for the dropkick(s) left holding the bag after the Belgian boneheads left Beaconsfield for Redhill. As for YouTube, it doesn’t permit hate speech.

No, seriously.

Ah men

The Age, October 12, 2008:

In one of the worst cases to pass through the courts recently, Whittlesea man Michael Kyriackou [who now lives in South Australia], 40, was convicted and fined $10,000 in Heidelberg Court last month on 43 counts of animal cruelty, after investigators discovered 11 emaciated calves — suffering dehydration, diarrhoea and intestinal worms — buried alive underneath cow carcasses on his property…

“We know that in 50% of all cases of domestic violence where women leave a violent partner, the pets that are left behind are either killed or tortured,” Mr Holland said.

Joerg Haider: The Ian Stuart Donaldson Driving School’s latest graduate

Ian Stuart Donaldson, English neo-Nazi musician. Born August 11, 1957, died in a car accident, September 24, 1993, aged 36.
Joerg Haider, German far right politician. Born January 26, 1950, died in a car accident, October 11, 2008, aged 58.

The moral of this story?

Nazis Shouldn’t Drive

They shouldn’t be driving day or night
They can’t think left, they can only think right
The sun reflects off their bald head
Like Ian Stuart they’re going to wind up dead

Nazis… shouldn’t drive (their cars)

They should’ve paid attention in driver’s ed
Instead of hating foreigners, queers and reds
Keep your eyes on the highway you loser thug
Now you’re squished on the highway like a bug

Ian, Ian, King of the Pit, no friend to you or me
Aaaaaaaaaaaah! Watch out for that tree!

Hammerskin goes to jail

The corrupt, Masonic and Marxist Portuguese court system has sentenced a number of boneheads, members of the local Hammerskins franchise, to jail. According to one report:

“For the first time in Portugal, a collective of judges has handed down prison sentences for racial discrimination and inciting racial hatred. On Friday, the court at Monsanto in Lisbon found 31 out of 36 defendants – all boneheads – guilty of racism and crimes of a racist nature. Of these, six were handed down prison sentences, five were absolved, while the others received suspended prison sentences, were awarded fines or given community service orders. The longest prison sentence was awarded to Paulo Maia, who was given six years, while Mário Machado and Vasco Leitão – both linked to the extreme right party Partido Nacional Renovador (PNR) – were given four years. Paulo Maia was found guilty of racial discrimination, kidnapping, aggravated incitement, actual bodily harm and holding illegal arms. It was Maia who, two years ago in Amadora, shot and injured two men for racial reasons. Judge João Felgar also handed down a five-year prison sentence to defendant Pedro Isaque…”

Another report summarises:

“Lisbon – Portugal’s main bonehead leader was Friday sentenced to 4 years and 10 months in prison, judicial sources said. Mario Machado, leader of the Portuguese section of the Hammerskin far-right group, was found guilty of racial discrimination, illegal possession of weapons, threats and violence. Six others were also handed prison terms, the length of which was not immediately given. Seventeen were given suspended prison sentences, seven were handed fines, and five were acquitted. Machado and 35 other suspects were detained in November 2007 on charges including attacks against Africans and dark-skinned Portuguese. Police seized firearms, munitions, knives, clubs, baseball bats and racist pamphlets.”

Earlier (April 20, 2007):

“Mario Machado, leader of the Portuguese far-right movement National Front (FN), was imprisoned Friday after 14 hours of questioning, a spokesman for the court said. A Lisbon judge decreed preventative prison for Machado. His lawyer did not give details, saying the charges against him were “public knowledge.” Nearly 30 far-right militants, including Machado, were detained Wednesday for possession of weapons and racist activities. Police searched some 60 addresses around the country. Three of the detainees were placed under house arrest pending trial. Six were ordered to report regularly to the authorities. The rest were released. Machado was sentenced to four years in prison in 1997 for participating in the killing of Alcino Monteiro, a Portuguese citizen of African origin, in Lisbon in 1995…”

Anarchists in the Gulag…

The Kate Sharpley Library are pleased to announce two new publications dealing with Bolshevik repression of Anarchists: An eyewitness account of the 1921 hunger strike in Moscow; and a special double issue of “KSL: Bulletin of the Kate Sharpley Library”, dealing with Anarchists in the Gulag, prison and exile under the Bolsheviks.

1) New pamphlet: A Grand Cause: The Hunger Strike and the Deportation of Anarchists From Soviet Russia by Grigorii Petrovich Maksimov (G. P. Maximoff) with a biographical essay by Anatoly Dubovik, translated by Szarapow.

Grigorii Petrovich Maksimov (better known to Western readers as G. P. Maximoff) was Secretary of Russia’s Anarcho-Syndicalist Confederation and editor of Golos Truda (The Voice of Labour). He experienced at first hand the Bolshevik repression which crushed other revolutionaries and subordinated popular revolt to party dictatorship. This is his story of the 1921 hunger strike in which some of the leading lights of Russian anarchism staked their lives in a desperate gamble to expose Bolshevik repression – and win their freedom.

This text comes from his indictment of the Bolshevik regime The Guillotine at Work: Twenty Years of Terror in Russia (1940). It has been footnoted by the Kate Sharpley Library to throw the light on the stories of other Russian anarchists as part of our Anarchists in the Gulag, Prison and Exile Project.

2) Special double issue of “KSL: Bulletin of the Kate Sharpley Library”.

This issue of the KSL Bulletin includes a Latvian anarchist’s view of Moscow in 1918, a tribute to Khodounov, one of the anarchist activists killed by the Cheka in the raids there in April 1918, texts on two Italian anarchist victims of the Bolshevik regime, a letter from Efim Yarchuk, (author of “Kronstadt in the Russian Revolution”) and a new biographical essay on Alexei Borovoi, one of the most important anarchists who stayed, and died, in Russia. Leaving the Soviet Union, we finish off with a review of the memoirs of Polish anarchist and 1944 Warsaw Rising survivor, Pawel Lew Marek.

An AWESOME Obsession (For Suckers)

Bloody Jews Muslims!

Charlie and His Orchestra:

Don’t Be A Sucker (U.S. War Department, 1947):

“Islamists! They’re comin’ right for us!”

Or so it appears.

On the one hand, in a rather desperate bid to shore up votes for the Republicans in the November Presidential election, some neo-cons calling themselves The Clarion Fund (‘National Security Through Education’) have distributed 28 million copies of a film, Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against The West, to US citizens in ‘swing’ states. The Republican candidate, John McCain, is running against the Democratic candidate, Barack HUSSEIN Obama.

Need I say more?

Obsession was directed, edited, and written by Wayne Kopping and produced by Peter Mier and Raphael Shore. Also on the campaign trail is Daniel Pipes. Well, sorta. Instead of counting sheep in his sleep, he’s been counting Islamists. According to Pipes’ Patented Islamofascist Quantitative Mishmash Calculating Machine, there’s at least 150 million of the buggers out there.

Maybe.

Sorta.

How Many Islamists?, Daniel Pipes, May 17, 2005 (updated September 30, 2008/October 8, 2008) | Counting Islamists, Daniel Pipes, Jerusalem Post, October 8, 2008 / Size of Islamist menace, The Australian, October 9, 2008

First, though, an explanation of what I meant by Muslims who “support militant Islam”: these are Islamists, individuals who seek a totalistic, worldwide application of Islamic law, the sharia. In particular, they seek to build an Islamic state in Turkey, replace Israel with an Islamic state and the US constitution with the Koran… ambiguous and contradictory percentages lead to no clear, specific count of Islamists. Out of a quantitative mishmash, I suggested just three days after 9/11 that about 10 per cent to 15 per cent of Muslims are determined Islamists. Subsequent evidence generally confirmed that estimate and suggested, if anything, that the actual numbers might be higher…

If you have received a hair-raising “documentary” called Obsession in the mail this weekend, you are not a chosen surprise winner, or the recipient of a kind anonymous gift. You belong to a sought after group of people: the residents of a swing state estimated to be an undecided voter. The film is supposed to convince you that your country is at war with the majority of Muslims who are willing to conquer America, kill or convert you, and establish a fascist empire. If you watch the film by yourself, and have no way of evaluating its content, chances are you will be convinced. Rather, you will be terrified…

Short Cuts

London Review of Books
October 1, 2008

If you live in an American swing state you may have received a copy of Obsession in your Sunday paper. ‘Obsession’ isn’t a perfume: it’s a documentary about ‘radical Islam’s war against the West’. In the last two weeks of September, 28 million copies of the film were enclosed as an advertising supplement in 74 newspapers, including the New York Times and the Chronicle of Higher Education. ‘The threat of Radical Islam is the most important issue facing us today,’ the sleeve announces. ‘It’s our responsibility to ensure we can make an informed vote in November.’ The Clarion Fund, the supplement’s sponsor, doesn’t explicitly endorse McCain, so as not to jeopardise its tax-exempt status, but the message is clear enough, and its circulation just happened to coincide with Obama’s leap in the polls.

The Clarion Fund is a front for neoconservative and Israeli pressure groups. It has an office, or at least an address, in Manhattan at Grace Corporate Park Executive Suites, which rents out ‘virtual office identity packages’ for $75 a month. Its website, clarionfund.org, provides neither a list of staff nor a board of directors, and the group still hasn’t disclosed where it gets its money, as required by the IRS. Who paid to make Obsession isn’t clear – it cost $400,000. According to Rabbi Raphael Shore, the film’s Canadian-Israeli producer, 80 per cent of the money came from the executive producer ‘Peter Mier’, but that’s just an alias, as is the name of the film’s production manager, ‘Brett Halperin’. Shore claims ‘Mier’ and ‘Halperin’, whoever they are, are simply taking precautions, though it isn’t clear against what. The danger (whatever it is) hasn’t stopped Shore – or the director, Wayne Kopping, a South African neocon – from going on television to promote their work.

The 60-minute film was first released in 2006 and shown during the mid-term elections on Fox News. Since then it has received top billing at ‘Islamo-Fascism Awareness’ week on American campuses, at Christian-Zionist conferences and at events organised by Republican politicians in Florida. It has found a powerful backer in the real estate magnate Sheldon Adelson, who describes himself as ‘the world’s richest Jew’. The Endowment for Middle East Truth, a neoconservative think tank in Washington DC which recently hosted a series of seminars named after Adelson and his wife, arranged distribution of Obsession, at a cost in the tens of millions.

The makers of the film, like their subjects, are soldiers of God. Almost everyone associated with it or with Clarion has worked for Aish HaTorah, an ‘education’ group with offices in East Jerusalem and strong links to the settler movement. Clarion was incorporated in Delaware to the New York offices of Aish HaTorah and Rabbi Shore was the director, as well as the founder of its media organisation, Honest Reporting, which campaigns against a two-state solution in Israel/Palestine. It’s illegal in the US for nonprofit organisations, or for foreign nationals, to try to influence the outcome of an election.

The film’s chief claim is that 2008 is like 1938, only worse, since there are more Muslims than Germans and they’re more spread out geographically: ‘They’re not outside our borders, they are here.’ Violent raptures and spectacular carnage unfold in slick montages set to throbbing Middle Eastern music: Pakistanis deliriously burning the American flag, Palestinians celebrating the 9/11 attacks, Hizbullah chanting ‘death to America’, clerics praising the ‘magnificent 19’ and the murder of unbelievers, children training to become suicide bombers, the planes crashing into the towers. These images are interspersed with footage of Nazi rallies and Hitler’s speeches. A chapter – narrated by Martin Gilbert, Churchill’s biographer – is devoted to the Mufti’s collaboration with Hitler.

Scary Muslims are everywhere, and the umma stands more united than ever, driven by hatred of infidels and Jews and determined to conquer the West, a civilisation gone soft, weakened by self-doubt, political correctness bordering on treason, and, worst of all, a ‘culture of denial’. Gilbert spells it out:

In the 1930s, the danger of Nazism was there . . . but people thought, well, this is a German problem, it’s a limited problem . . . And I think the same is true today . . . They don’t see that Islamic fundamentalism is a global network and a global problem . . .because if you come to that conclusion – and I’m sure it’s the true conclusion – then you have to do something about it.

Obsession doesn’t say what we should do – except steer well clear of dialogue and negotiation.

Although there are interviews with the usual ‘terrorism experts’ – Daniel Pipes, Alan Dershowitz et al – the film’s portrayal of the region is mostly left to native informants like Nonie Darwish (a leader of Arabs for Israel and the daughter of a slain fighter from Gaza), Brigitte Gabriel (the Lebanese-Christian author of They Must Be Stopped) and Walid Shoebat, a ‘former PLO terrorist’ who operates under a pseudonym – for security reasons, of course. Shoebat runs the Walid Shoebat Foundation, described on its website as an ‘organisation that cries out for the Justice of Israel and the Jewish people’. He’s made a career of recounting his journey from Islamic terror to Christian Zionism before audiences at Evangelical gatherings and the US Air Force Academy. It’s not clear, though, that he ever laid a hand on anyone. According to a relative, ‘the biggest act of terror he ever committed was to glue Palestinian flags on street posts.’ What is very clear is that, for the makers of Obsession, having once hated Jews gives you privileged access to the Muslim mind, and not only if you’re an ex-Muslim. Among the film’s authorities on radical Islam is a former leader of the Hitler Youth, Alfons Heck, who says that ‘what the Muslims do to their own children is even worse’ than the things the Nazis did to young Germans – as only a Nazi could know.

If you didn’t receive Obsession with your paper, you can watch it on YouTube. It’s been posted by a former Muslim whose screen identity is ‘fuckmohammad’.

I’m worried about showing my bum in new movie, admits Eva Mendes

Glasgow Daily Record
October 9, 2008

THIS is the rear view that has been giving Eva Mendes sleepless nights ahead of the premiere of her latest movie. The actress bares her bum in the adaptation of Will Eisner’s 1940s comic book The Spirit. Eva admitted stripping for her role as cat burglar Sand Saref made her nervous. She said: “I’m excited to see what happens with this scene. Well, I don’t think it’s ‘excited’ – I’m actually nervous. I think they have a butt shot of me. I’m not sure how it ended up.” The movie is the story of a rookie cop, played by Gabriel Macht, who returns from the dead as the Spirit to fight crime. Eva was persuaded to reveal her bum cheeks by the film’s director Frank Miller, the man behind Sin City and 300. She said: “I really trusted Frank. We’ll see how that one turns out. The movie looks spectacular. I play a jewel thief who’s been married 15 times and has killed each and every one of her husbands. When do you get to play that?” Eva’s nude scene follows her controversial raunchy ad for Calvin Klein’s Secret Obsession perfume. It featured her rolling around semi-naked in bed and was banned in the US.

Lex Wotton is a Palm Island man currently on trial in Brisbane. He is a plumber and the father of four children. Lex has been charged with riot (“with destruction”), and faces up to ten (or thirteen) years in jail if found guilty. The charge of riot stems from events on November 26, 2004, after the death in custody a week earlier of Mulrunji Doomadgee. Senior Sergeant Chris Hurley, believed to be the first Australian policeman to go on trial for an Aboriginal death in custody, was cleared in a Townsville court of the manslaughter of Doomadgee in the island’s watchhouse in 2004. In addition:

After the death of Mulrunji, Hurley voluntarily offered himself up for suspension from the police service with full pay. It lasted several years. That’s quite a taxpayer-funded holiday.

In May this year, The Australian newspaper revealed that Hurley had received a $100,000 payout from the Queensland government for losses he says he incurred from the fire which destroyed the police barracks. That’s quite a payout – the average household contents for an Australian home is worth $70,000.

Hurley has since received a promotion, and he’s had his legal bills largely covered by the Queensland Police Union. In addition to that, he is yet to face any disciplinary action over the death of Mulrunji, nor the many breaches of police regulations prior to and after the death. Lex Wotton, by contrast, has already served three months in jail and is facing a further 13 years.

“Book Club” meeting goes awry

London:

Anarchists arrested after clash with BNP activists in East End
East London Advertiser
October 8, 2008

SIX anarchists were arrested in a street fight after they discovered BNP activists had duped a vicar into letting them use his church hall for a rally by saying it was a “book club” meeting.

The six were part of a group of about 30 supporters of the Antifa anti-fascist group who had been lying in wait for the British National Party in Bethnal Green on Sunday.

The anarchists had found out that some 40 BNP members, including former Millwall councillor Derek Beackon, were staging a strategy rally in the church hall of St John on Bethnal Green.

Derek William Beackon is a former UK school bus driver who achieved nationwide notoriety after winning a Millwall council seat for the far-right British National Party (BNP) on September 17, 1993.

A former member of the openly Nazi British Movement, Beackon joined the BNP in 1986 as an associate member, becoming a full member two years later. Known as ‘Daddy’, Beackon first presented as a candidate for the BNP in 1990 in the Redcoat ward of Tower Hamlets where he gained 3% of the vote, a typically low total for the party at the time. Derek Beackon lost his council seat in May 1994 after a Labour landslide in the East End. The Liberal Democrat candidates – who never really recovered from the taint of alleged racism the previous year – were also swept out of power in Tower Hamlets. The BNP did not win any other elections until May 2002 when the party picked up three council seats in Burnley.

They tipped off the rector, the Rev Alan Green, who had been told by the person reserving the hall it was for a “book club” discussion.

When Mr Green called the group and asked them to leave, the BNP refused.

The vicar then called the police.

As six officers escorted the BNP out of the hall, the anarchists pounced sparking a running battle with cops who called in back-up units and used CS spray to fight back.

An Antifa spokesman told the Advertiser: “We had about 40 of our people in the area, but we didn’t want to cause problems for the church, so we waited outside for the fascists to come out.

“We told them they weren’t welcome in east London and not to show their faces again.”

The Advertiser understands the BNP’s meeting was called to drum up support for a new electoral offensive, and possibly a re-formed branch in Tower Hamlets, before next May’s European polls.

The Antifa spokesman said: “Getting elected in the London elections has given them confidence and they’re slowly marching back into old territory in the city.”

Vicar Mr Green, chair of the Tower Hamlets Inter-Faith Forum and one of the most respected religious leaders in the East End, said he was “disturbed” by the incident.

He said: “We were told it was a book club, but it was quite clear after the meeting started that this was nothing of the sort.

“I could hear them from my office near the hall, it was a political rally.

“When it was quite clear they weren’t going to leave, I called the police. I only found out later there had then been fighting.”

He also pledged to vet groups wanting to use the hall, which is let out free of charge, more carefully.

He added: “They booked under false pretences. We have quite an open policy, but in future I think someone will have to be present when new groups arrive. Extremists are not welcome here.”

BNP spokesman Simon Darby said speakers at Sunday’s rally included former national organiser Richard Edmonds, Barking councillor Bob Bailey and author Jonathan Bowden [BNP ‘cultural officer’; former editor, Revolutionary Conservative].

In 1988, The Sunday Times revealed that Holocaust News, a publication that claimed The Holocaust was an “evil hoax”, was being published by Edmonds, on behalf of a BNP front organisation, the Centre for Historical Review, and distributed by members. The theme was returned to in the April 8, 1991 edition of Panorama where Edmonds described the publication as ‘a wonderful statement of the truth’. Edmonds also spent time in custody over a racial attack in 1993 and had previously been convicted for smashing a statue of Nelson Mandela on London’s South Bank. Further controversy came in 1993 when he told The Guardian‘s Duncan Campbell that ‘we [the BNP] are 100% racist’.

Mr Darby said: “It’s a sad reflection of the times that we should have to book legitimate meetings under a false name and then be intimidated and violently attacked by left wing, politically motivated stooges.”

The six anti-fascists arrested, aged between 19 and 29 and including one woman, were detained overnight, police said.

Five were released on police bail and no further action will be taken against the 19-year-old.

antifa.org.uk : “All in all a pretty good day for anti-fascists with plenty of photo opportunities and a fascist meeting stopped! The old heads of the East London BNP including the likes of Derek Beackon and Richard Edmonds must tonight be scratching their shiny domes wondering what went wrong. Maybe stick to taking the old folk out to bingo in future eh chaps!”

Rome:

Our friend and comrade Renato was beaten to death by a fascist delinquent two years ago. During the commemoration of his murder, a group of ten fascists attacked three other people under the cover of darkness.

Same Blades, Same Plots

August 27, 2006: Renato Biagetti, 26 years-old, left a reggae beach party with his girlfriend and a friend in the early hours. They were attacked not far from the beach. They were “guilty” of attending a leftist party. Renato was stabbed eight times and killed. The man who murdered him had a Celtic cross tattooed on his arm. This is the reason why we have claimed a fascist attack.

August 30, 2008: Two years after the murder of Renato Biagetti, a concert was organised in the centre of Rome to commemorate his memory and reject fascist violence. Around 4am, after the event, a fascist squad of about 10 people armed with knives and chains cowardly attacked three of our comrades as they were going back to their cars. They had been hiding not far from the concert site waiting for most of the people to go away. One of them, a member of Otra Campana, got stabbed six times in his thigh and ended up in hospital. Despite being injured, the others managed to send them away. This ambush is an incontrovertible proof: Renato was killed by the neo-fascists and their obtuse culture of violence (especially characterized by the use of “the knives”).

This is not an isolated case: over the last few years a significant number of murders and hate attacks directed at immigrants, transgender people, squats, lesbians and gays and anyone who may look “different” have been taking place in Italy. This is not a new phenomenon: but it has become increasingly serious in the last few years. Since January 2005 activists and antifascist groups reported more than three hundred attacks, some of them fatal. Their warnings have remained unheard…

why the fuck would i do that when im too busy trying to fix australia from being destroyed by people like you. the gooks can sort their own [shit] out. it took the mighty white race plenty of time to get to where it is and outside scum shouldnt be helped, they get it too easy as it is. open the floodgates and let the cunts in you probably say, and wait and watch as they make the most of our freedom without wanting to give any of it back. we’ll be a fascist state because of so called anti fascists like you in about 20 years because of your inaction on stopping the yellow peril. wait until they take over and then take away your rights. they’ve already helped make one of the best prime ministers ever lose his own seat so dont doubt their ability to greatly affect this country… and reading earlier you were very concerned about some of us hassling a negroid girl, well did you stop to think there may have been a reason? she was foul, spitting on people, drinking goon, making a fool of herself and she had what was coming. anyway mate youre a goose and i think you should put your money where your mouth is ~ BirmyHammerSkinz, Bombshell punk rawk forum, December, 2007

As great as the name Slack Bastard is maybe you should consider changing it to Misinformed Twat. I’m off to play a set of Jamaican and Two-Tone ska [at the formerly fascist-sympathising Birmingham Hotel] right now, I’m sure I’ll speak to you soon when you find some other way to twist truths into bullshit. ~ Reverend Jack marked by or reflective of narrow interests and sympathies [The Beefeaters], Feb 9th, 2008 at 5:11 pm
