Bad news for fans of nazi muzak in Croatia, as a band with links to failed MMA clothing company Hoelzer Reich is arrested and another nutzi pop concert, organised by a fascist groupuscule known as ‘Hrvatskih Nacionalista’, is curtailed.
Zagreb – Authorities in Croatia have arrested and charged six people over an attempt to organize a concert of German neo-Nazi band, local media reported Sunday.
The band, Blue Max, were due to play in Krizevci, a small town in central Croatia.
The police banned the concert on Saturday night and arrested more than 30 people, including eight Germans and one Italian citizen.
The majority of arrested, aged between 20 and 30, were released after midnight, but six Croats were charged for displaying Nazi insignias, verbally assaulting police officers and not reporting the concert to authorities.
The concert was to feature two Croatian bands as well. – Sapa-dpa

The gig was intended to feature German oom-pah band Blue Max and a group of local swastika-lickers called Strong Survive. Funnily enough, the SS was scheduled to release a split CD with Polish nutzi band The Gits and Belgian nutzi band Kill Baby Kill in October 2009; sadly, the lead shouter for KBK, Dieter Samoy, committed suicide last month, after being sentenced to two years jail for his role in beating a black man unconscious during an assault in Brussels in 2006. KBK came, saw and conquered Australia in 2008 — those responsible for organising the whirlwind tour have organised another knees-up to take place on the Gold Coast in April, just a few days prior to Adolf Hitler’s birthday. Given their hatred of blacks and propensity to assault them, wrong-coloured members of the public touring the Gold Coast are advised to be alert but not alarmed on the neo-Nazi Big Day Out.

On Tuesday’s edition of tabloid current affairs TV show Today Tonight, David Eccleston filed a report on a bizarre new social phenomenon that he and host Matthew White (a former sports reporter whose bland appeal landed him the role in October 2008) termed ‘Reverse racism’. In an operant sense, ‘reverse racism’ is what happens when fair dinkum Aussie blokes like former meat worker turned restaurateur Craig Whitney, CFMEU NSW Secretary Andrew Ferguson, and Australian Protectionist Party spokesperson Darrin Hodges express misgivings over the negative influence migrants have on Australian work and culture.
The Walkley Award-winning duo — animated by the same deep and abiding concern for workers’ rights which characterises all reportage on Today Tonight — begin their tale of woe as follows:
White: But now to the issue of reverse racism in the workplace. Workers and trade unions claim it’s at the stage where certain jobs are being reserved for immigrants who are happy to work for less pay. As David Eccleston reports, there are concerns that racism is working in reverse, and threatening the Australian way of life.
Eccleston: Welcome to the new Australia, one where you can be pushed aside by migrants willing to work. Twice as long, twice as hard, and for half the pay.
The term ‘reverse racism’ is of course nonsense, something even a high school student understands — or is, at least, expected to. For the benefit of tabloid journalists however, the Racism. No Way website — designed for the use of such students — spells out why:
The notion of reverse racism is that people from the dominant culture are being discriminated against or not receiving the same benefits as people from minority groups. It needs to be understood that there is no such thing as reverse racism. At an individual level, all ethnic or cultural groups are capable of both discriminating against other groups and of being discriminated against, although minority groups are more likely to suffer from institutional racism.
Of course, it’s also possible to assume, quite reasonably, that White, Eccelston and the other members of the team at Today Tonight are aware of the fact that the term is bogus, but that, more importantly, it sells to an already primed audience.
Having introduced the concept of reverse racism — which, as a form of racism, is certainly objectionable, and being directed against the interests of the show’s presumed audience, more likely to elicit a strong reaction — Eccleston turns to a series of talking heads for further elucidation: former meatworker Craig Whitney, CFMEU NSW Secretary Andrew Ferguson, Australian Protectionist Party spokesperson Darrin Hodges and Race Discrimination Commissioner Graeme Innes.
Huh. I didn’t realise until now that UK anarchist Colin Ward has died. His Anarchism: A Very Short Introduction (OUP, 2004) is both very short and quite good, and his appeal as a writer was widespread, his many, generally pithy writings emphasising the practical dimensions of Anarchy in Action. (Revolution by the Book has an extract from Anarchy in Actionhere; AK Press is also publishing Autonomy, Solidarity, Possibility: The Colin Ward Reader later this year.) In addition to being the author of numerous books and pamphlets, Ward edited Anarchy zine for its first 100 issues (1961–1970), criticised by some as being reflective of anarchism’s absorption by the middle class.

Oddly, bizarrely even, presenter Matthew White concludes David Eccleston’s report by saying “if you’d like some more information or you’d like to lodge a complaint you’ll find the relevant details on our website”. And on the website are links to a page on ‘Race Discrimination’ and ‘Lodging your complaint’ on The Australian Human Rights Commission site, a link to the Australian Manufacturing Workers Union (which the brains at TT have presumably confused with the CFMEU), and finally to the Australian Protectionist Party.
Speaking of the APP, and Hodges, he has some cross words for local terrorist Muslim Nazeem Hussain (Nazeem Hussain’s Jihad against white Australians., The Infidel Diaries, February 14, 2010) after Hussain declared a jihad! against White Australians, aka his authorship of an article (True colours, On Line Opinion, February 11, 2010) on the whiteness of commercial TV:
It was not until I returned from a trip to Europe that it dawned on me how white Australian television actually is. It’s an arduous task for me to recall five people on Australian television who are not white. The only people that come to mind are a couple of SBS news readers, and the guy who played the demeaning role of Bingo Commissioner with a ridiculous feigned Indian accent on the failed series of Sunday Night Bingo. Oh … and there are brown people on community TV, if you have reception…

Once upon a time, BNP Führer Nick Griffin was going to tour The Colonies.
First, Australia.
That was in late 2008. His tour, scheduled to take place in December and organised by the Australian Protectionist Party (the principal spokesperson for which, Darrin Hodges, was recently a guest on tabloid current affairs show Today Tonight), was eventually postponedcancelled. (A previous tour in 1998 was halted after then-Minister for Immigration and Multicultural Affairs Montgomery Burns refused him entry to the country.)
Secondly — and now — the United States.
Sadly, as in the case of Australia, Griffin’s tour of the former British colony has run into some difficulties.
Thus Griffin was scheduled to speak at the Ninth American Renaissance Conference (2010): Defending the West, joining a range of other Aryan Intellectuals such as ah, Dan Roodt and er, Craig Bodeker and um, Jared Taylor.
Then it got cancelled.
That’s right. Done. Kaput. Finished. Over. CANCELLED! After three months of getting the word out and letting people know that a group of politically connected white supremacists were planning to meet this weekend, American Renaissance editor Jared Taylor threw in the towel, effectively cancelling the American Renaissance Conference 2010…
And then it got re-scheduled. According to the fine folks at One People’s Project: “Despite earlier announcements that they cancelled the American Renaissance Conference, organizers say they have secured another venue, a hotel with a recent history of hosting white supremacists.”
Forget about stuffy, over-designed, boring hotels. The Capitol Skyline is all about being happy, cool, interesting, fun, unpretentious, and comfortable. It’s a place where you can be yourself, see some incredible things, and be around people who are interested in racism, but not victims of it.
The conference is scheduled to take place from February 19. Or thereabouts. At The Capitol Skyline. Maybe.
In any event (or non-event), as a result of this latest fracas, Griffin’s tour of the United States has also been cancelled. Prior to his defence of Western Civilisation at the AmRen conference, on February 18 Griffin was supposed to speak at Kenyon College in Ohio. That event got cancelled. He was also intending to rally to the defence of the Sons of Liberty in Michigan, but that too has been cancelled.
Finally, in response to the re-scheduling of the AmRen conference, some self-described (to be confused with self-styled) anarchists have released a statement ‘Concerning the American Renaissance Conference’ (February 17, 2010). Further, both The Pink Mafia and ZOG have refused to either confirm or deny that Griffin’s difficulties have anything to do with the BNP’s failure to go soft on Uncle Rupert’s employees.
Note that in 2006, disgraced former Macquarie University academic Andrew Fraser addressed the AmRen conference. Born in Canada, he came to Australia on the understanding that it was populated by people with blonde hair and blue eyes. Fraser has also spoken at far right forums in rural NSW (Inverall) and Sydney.
